I'm compiling a list of buffs that I need to bring to a raid based on my role and character assuming needing to be prepared for a 4 hour progression raid.  I'll post on Tonsha soon since she just ding'd 70 and is apparently able to heal adequately for the first half of Kara with help.

Wyanna's Warrior Buffs:

Tanking:
20 x Adamantite Sharpening Stones (1 stack) (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=23529)
30 x Ironshield Potion (6 stacks) (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=22849)
10 x Super Healing Potion (2 stacks) (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=22829)

40 x Elixir of Major Agility (2 stack) (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=22831)
40 x Elixir of Major Defense (2 stack) (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=22834)

2 x Flask of Fortification (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=22851)

Recipes:
20 x Adamantite Sharpening Stones = 20x Adamantite Bar, 40x Mote of Earth
20 x Elixir of Major Agility = 20 x Terocone, 40 x Felweed, 20 x Imbued Vial
20 x Elixir of Major Defense = 60 x Ancient Lichen, 20 x Terocone, 20 x Imbued Vial

10 x Ironshield Potion = 20 Ancient Lichen, 30x Mote of Earth, 10x Imbued Vial

1 x Flask of Fortification = 1x Fel Lotus, 3x Mana Thistle, 7x Ancient Lichen, 1x Imbued Vial
1 x Flask of Relentless Assault = 1x Fel Lotus, 3x Mana Thistle, 7x Terocone, 1x Imbued Vial

So we decided to finally take the plunge and move into a real raiding guild.  Wyanna and the rest of the DoS crew are now in Unnecessary Evil and it's been a blast so far getting into some of the Tier 4 raids.  I've been to ZA, Kara, and Gruul's lair with them now.

Last night we 2-shotted both High King and Gruul.  I went in as Fury spec and realized that I really do need to work on that DPS gear - I got completely smoked on the meters!  My rotation really needs some work too.  I have a hard time keeping WW/BT on cooldown and refreshing Rampage at the right time.  The good news is that I was keeping 2/5 imp demo shout up on Gruul and while nobody may have noticed, I feel that my debuff may have made a good contribution beyond my dps.  The debuff went right to the top too every time that I did it, so I suspect that nobody else had improved demoralizing (or at least they weren't using it).

Wyanna has also seen some phenomenal improvements to her gear in just the last three days - mostly on the tanking side of things.

She has hit SSO Exalted, got some lucky drops in heroic Ramps, got some badges, and was also lucky enough to win a tier token from Gruul last night!

New DPS Neck: Shattered Sun Pendant of Might (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=34679)
New DPS Ring: Reavers' Ring (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=27460)

I think the name Reavers' Ring is pretty sweet just because it doesn't belong to just one Reaver - it belongs to ALL THE REAVERS!!!!!!  Plus I don't know why, but it's an ilvl 117 item, not 115.  I have no idea if it's a bug or not, but it's a nice upgrade from my previous ring and I'll take it.  :-)

New Tank Neck: Shattered Sun Pendant of Resolve (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=34680)
New Tank Shield: Dawnforged Defender (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=34676)
New Tank Belt: Lion's Heart Girdle (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29238)
New Tank Pants: Warbringer Legguards (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29015)
New Tank Cloak: Slikk's Cloak of Placcation (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=33593)

The neck will be used in my threat (aka trash/heroic) tanking set only, keeping the XYZ () as my avoidance piece for now since it has much better avoidance stats.  The rest have found full-time use in all tanking sets.  The new shield has +18 Stamina, the new cloak has +12 dodge rating, and the legs have the epic Nethercleft Leg armor (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29536) for +40 stamina and +12 agility.

So what am I working on now?

Well there is still some low-hanging fruit.  I have been PVPing and I still want to be able to get the S2 Mainhand axe as soon as S4 starts.  After that there's a ton of S2 honor and S3 arena gear that will be a pretty significant upgrade for me.  I am working on the Red Belt of Battle too, which I may be able to get in just a few days (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=30032).  That will provide a major DPS boost right off the bat.  Then there's the two BOE epic cloaks that I need to evaluate.  The one seems to have much easier mats and the other is a fraction higher DPS.  Lastly there's always heroic Sethekk Halls for the Spaulders of Dementia (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32073) and heroic Blood Furnace for the Eagle Crest Warboots (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29239).  Then raiding and other heroics for badges.

So life is good for Wyanna and Tonsha is coming up behind her at level 68 now.  The new guild is working out and some of our other folks are getting some loot too, which is great.  Selix just replaced her hat which she's had for months.  Kernog is working on getting some stuff but hasn't had the lucky drops yet.  I feel bad that I rolled against him for the T4 legs, but he lost the roll to other folks anyway and he has the S1 legs already.  It would be an upgrade for him in PVE - I hope he understands... and gets them next week!  :-)

Now if I could just get a job...

Well Wyanna got into her first honest-to-goodness raid last night.  I tagged along with Unnecessary Evil in Gruul's lair and we downed High King Maulgar in probably 6 attempts.  The whole thing took maybe 90 minutes and we got one trash respawn.  Their guild leader had to split and since we had been in there for a while we called it a night.

UE seems pretty decent overall.  A bit disorganized, probably, but there is a lot of potential.  The reason they let us come along was because they started losing people after hitting SSC.  Big shock, right?  Blizzard seriously fucked up by making the raid progression 10 -> 25 rather than having two separate tracks.  Hopefully the first bosses in new Naxx will be tuned for dungeon-geared players.  But I digress...

Anyway, these guys downed Lurker before they hit an attendance wall and it seems like their mains are geared OK.  The first few pulls we had some tank deaths early on and it seemed to be relatively basic tanking/healing issues.  Also there were some mage tanking issues and hunter misdirect and fear ward issues, too, now that I recall.  OK so maybe things were all screwy  :-).  Add to that the rogue group that I was in (fury spec ftw) was not doing as well as we could have been in DPSing down the healer ogre quickly and keeping him stunlocked/interrupted.  It would have been nice to have an enhancement shaman or shadow priest - heck even a felhunter - to dispell that shield thing he does since he's not interruptible while it's up.  Oh well.

On try 7 (approximately) the high king was dead and the loot was handed out.  No warrior items, but I got two badges so I was quite pleased.  :-)  It was a solid reintroduction to raiding, and a nice introduction raid for Wyanna herself.  I wound up coming in 6th on the DPS meters which "sounds great" but is more middle-of-the-road than anything.  Figure there's 4 tanks and 7 healers (guessing) so that's really 6th out of 14.  The good news is that I know I can do better in terms of keeping my DPS rotation up and more consistently hitting my trinket on cooldown.  The bad news is that I know I need better gear, but what else is new?  Maxdps.com is a great site for helping any class find better gear and perform to their maximum potential in PVE.  This is some of the low-hanging fruit that it suggests for me.

Wyanna’s Fury Gear Checklist

Helmet: Regem my Overlord's Helmet of Second Sight (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=31105) to 3x Bold Living Ruby (+8 str)

Neck: Get the Natasha’s Choker (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=31695) from the Blade’s Edge chain.

Shoulders: Regem my Ragesteel shoulders to 2x Bold Living Ruby (+8 str)

Cape: Get a Vengeance Wrap (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=24259) or Cloak of Darkness (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=33122) crafted and gem with +8 str.  Each of these would be approximately 7 more DPS than my current item.

Chest: Get a Ragesteel Breastplate crafted (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=23522) for 5 more DPS or get the S2 breastplate (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=30486) when S4 comes out for 15 (!) more DPS.

Wrist: The S3 bracers (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=33813) are 10 DPS more than my Adamantite ones.

Gloves: The S3 gloves are a great choice (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=33729) and 7 more DPS than my current.

Belt:  Now that Vortexes are not soulbound, the Red Belt of Battle owns all in my accessible gear list (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=30032) and is crafted.  It’s a full 21 DPS more than my current!

Legs:  This slot I’m actually OK in.  The arena legs will be nice but I have decent enchanted/gemmed legs from mech (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=30533).  The S3 legs are 10 DPS more but I’m OK.

Boots:  I need to go up to Ogri’la and get another set of Vortex Walkers for DPSing, but the good news is that once I do, I will be all set for this slot.

Rings:  I have a decent DPS one from Sha’tar exalted (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29177) and about the only easy upgrade will be the Reaver’s ring which seems to drop all the time in heroic Ramps (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=27460)  Also the S3 ring (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=33919) is very nice and a 6 DPS upgrade over my Umbral Doom (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28323) ring.

Trinket:  Apparently I need a lot of help in this area.  I need to farm for the Hourglass from BM (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28034) and the Abacus from Mechanar (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28288).  I’m shocked the Abacus hasn’t dropped for me considering how many times I’ve run Mech.  Lastly, if I run heroic MrT, I can hope for the Shard of Contempt from the PVP boss (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=34472).

Ranged:  For DPSing I should get the Felsteel Whisper Knives crafted which will be very easy to handle (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29204).  After that, the easiest is whatever PVP ranged weapon is available.

Main Hand Weapon:  My goal is the Merciless Gladiator’s Cleaver (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=31965) which I will purchase as soon as S4 comes out which will be an 18 DPS upgrade over the Vindicator’s Brand (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29124) and possibly more due to the Orcish Axe expertise racial bonus.

Off Hand Weapon: The Breeching Comet (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=34616) is pretty cool from Heroic MrT, but other than that it’s a matter of upgrading to the latest PVP weapon at some point.  I’m in no rush due to already having the S1 off-hand axe (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28309).

So to sum up:

Helm: Simple regem

Neck: Easy Quest Chain

Shoulders: Simple regem

Cape: Expensive craft (not a priority)

Chest: Moderately expensive craft (not a priority)

Wrist: PVP bracers

Gloves: PVP gloves

Belt: Craft Red Belt of Battle (expensive but major upgrade)

Legs: PVP legs (not a priority)

Boots: Farm another Ogri'la boots set (takes 1 hour)

Rings: PVP one (not a priority)

Trinket: Farm mech and BM - my current trinkets are apparently awful.

Ranged: Buy Felsteel Whisper Knives (will do today)

Main Hand: PVP main hand (buy when S4 comes out)

Off Hand: Fine here - probably reenchant for +20 Str.

Also of interesting note, I found a suggestion to add the following lines to my “GAB 6000” macro which I plan to do presently:

/cancelaura Greater Blessing of Salvation

/cancelaura Blessing of Salvation

Wyanna has gotten some nice stuff in the last week or so.

First off, she picked up Sha'tar exalted last night after doing a regular Mechanar and heroic Arcatraz run (skipped first boss).  When we finished I was like 200 rep short, but I went and solo'd "Evil Draws Near" to pick up the last bit.  With Exalted, she was able to buy the Crest of the Sha'tar shield (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29176) and A'dal's Command ring (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29177).  The shield is a major upgrade from my Ogri'la Aegis (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32652) and the ring is handy for DPSing.

In addition, she got to Ogri'la Exalted and picked up the Crystalline Crossbow (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32645) which is possibly the best trash tanking missile weapon in the game (that I'll have access to, anyway), and the Vortex Walking Boots (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32648) which I gemmed with a +12 Sta and a +4 Def/+6 Sta gem and put Boar's Speed on (+9 Sta and run speed).

Speaking of Ranged slots, I got the Gyro-balanced Khorium Destroyer (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32756) and stuck a +4 Def/+6 Sta gem in it as well.  I now have my ranged slot complete for both trash and bosses.

So here's the current "achievable" pre-raid goals for Wyanna, which borrows heavily from Berg’s gear guide at TankSpot (http://www.tankspot.com/forums/gear-lists-rankings/32083-berg-s-tank-gear-rankings-03-19-2008-wow-2-4-a.html):

Head: Faceguard of the Endless Watch (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=30731) from Doomwalker is now BOE, which may be my best choice.  Else, the Faceguard of Determination (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32083) is for 50 badges, has a metagem slot, and would be a nice upgrade over my Felsteel helm.

Neck:  Working toward Exalted with Shattered Sun Offensive for DPS neck and Tanking neck.  Shattered Sun Pendant of Might (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=34679) and of Resolve (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=34680).  The Sun Pendant of Might proc is +200 AP, and the Sun Pendant of Resolve proc is 100 dodge rating for 10 sec.  There is also the Necklace of the Juggernaut for 25 badges (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29386) which is a real tanking neck and the Brooch of Deftness which has an awesome amount of expertise for 35 badges (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=33296).

Shoulder:  I would love to get the Fanblade Pauldrons (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=27847) from heroic Crypts or, ideally, the Spaulders of Dementia (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32073) from heroic Sethekk Halls.

Chest:  Chestplate of Stoicism (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=34939) is ridiculous and costs 100 badges.  My current Aldor revered chest plate (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29127) is about the best it’s going to get unless I want to spend 25 fewer badges on a pally tank chest… which at that point I might as well wait and get the Stoicism chest anyway.

Back: With the Devilshark Cape for an all purpose and threat cloak (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=27804) I don’t have too far to go, but for just 35 badges I can upgrade to Slikk’s Cloak of Placation (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=33593) which is among the best tanking cloaks in the game for mitigation.

Bracers: The Attumen Bracers aka Vambraces of  Courage are definitely in reach (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28502) but otherwise I’ll be going for the badge bracers (35 Badges) called the Bracers of the Ancient Phalanx (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=33516) which have a sweet amount of expertise.  This slot is not a priority as I already have the Bracers of the Green Fortress (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=23538) a BOE crafted epic.

Gloves:  The Bonefist Gauntlets are sweet at 60 badges (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=33517).  Another possibility is the gloves from Maiden (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28518).  I have the drop from Warp Splinter (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32072) so this is not a priority.

Belt: The Iron Tusk girdle is awesome (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=33279) but costs 60 badges.  It may be on the list at some point.  Otherwise the drop from Heroic Ramps isn’t terrible and will probably be my next tanking epic (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29238).

Legs: The Unwavering Legguards (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=33515) are for 75 badges and would be awesome.  For now I should really get my Felsteel Leggings (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=23518) crafted and do a few more BM runs for the Timewarden’s Leggings (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29184).

Boots: The Eaglecrest Warboots (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29239) from heroic Blood Furnace will do quite nicely.

Ring:  For 25 badges, the Ring of Unyielding Force (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29384) is pretty darn nice.  Also there is the Elementium Band of the Sentry (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28407) from regular/heroic Arcatraz off the final boss.  Also the various ranks of the violet signet will be nice to get some day (http://www.wowhead.com/?items=4.-2&filter=na=violet+signet;cr=109;crs=1;crv=1#0+5-2+1).  The Band of Determination from regular MrT has armor and expertise (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=34706).  Theoretically Lower City Exalted would also be nice for the expertise ring (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=30834).

Trinket:  At some point it’d be nice to get the Moroes’ lucky pocket watch (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28528), but who knows.  For now, I’m collecting Furies cards to get the Vengeance trinket (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=31858) which has a nice 10% "thorns" style proc and +51 stamina!  I would also like the Adamantite Figurine (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=27891) in the meantime to replace my Dabiri’s Enigma (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=30300).  Lastly, my GAB6000 will be with me for quite some time (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29387) so this is really all about what comes my way first. J

Weapon: Done for mitigation.  The Sun Eater owns (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29362).  If I ever get in Kara, I may pick up a King's Defender.  If the Quickening Blade of the Prince (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=34609) drops in Heroic MrT, I may grab it if nobody else wants.  Otherwise the threat weapon I'm working toward is the S2 1h Axe when S4 comes out: Merciless Gladiator’s Cleaver (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=31965).

Shield: Working toward Exalted with Shattered Sun Offensive for the Dawnforged Defender (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=34676).

Ranged: Done.  The Gun (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32756) and Crossbow (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32645) that I have are the best I will have access to before WoTLK.

Summary of things Wyanna needs to do:

  • Farm hundreds of Badges.  *lol*
  • Shattered Sun Exalted (from dailies or farming MrT)
  • Heroic Crypts (shoulder)
  • Heroic Sethekk Halls (shoulder)
  • Heroic Magister’s Terrace (rep and sword)
  • Regular Magister's Terrace (ring)
  • Heroic Ramparts (belt)
  • Heroic Blood Furnace (boots)
  • Any Caverns of Time instance (to get revered for legs)
  • Craft Felsteel Leggings
  • Arcatraz (regular or heroic) for ring
  • Shadow Labyrinth (regular or heroic) for tank trinket and LC rep (for ring)
  • PVP for Season 2 1h Axe (for personal DPS weapon / threat weapon)
  • Karazhan and beyond!

Badge Gear (likely order)

25 badges - Ring - Ring of Unyielding Force - http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29384
35 badges - Wrist - Bracers of the Ancient Phalanx - http://www.wowhead.com/?item=33516
35 badges - Back - Slikk's Cloak of Placation - http://www.wowhead.com/?item=33593
25 badges - Neck - Necklace of the Juggernaut - http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29386
50 badges - Helm - Faceguard of Determination - http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32083
60 badges - Belt - Iron Tusk Girdle - http://www.wowhead.com/?item=33279
60 badges - Hands - Bonefist Gauntlets - http://www.wowhead.com/?item=33517
75 badges - Legs - Unwavering Legguards - http://www.wowhead.com/?item=33515
100 badges - Chest - Chestplate of Stoicism - http://www.wowhead.com/?item=34939

Wow, just 465 badges.  That's only 90 or so daily heroic instances...  :-(

"Forged in the heart of a dying star, this ethereal blade is feared across the cosmos."

Yesterday I was fortunate enough to get The Sun Eater to drop on what I believe to be my second-ever heroic Mechanar run.  Selix was there along with our mage friends Phus and Toishanique (and our pug pally who did a great job!).  Thanks to Selix for being generous with some enchanting mats (tons of shards, dusts, and essences) and I have my Sun Eater with Mongoose!

http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29362
http://www.wowwiki.com/Mongoose

I didn't mention that I also have my Auto-blocker 6000 trinket.  It took me about a month to save up the 41 badges, but I'm quite pleased with the result.  That thing is pretty neat and now I just need to fire up the macro for it.

In fact, it's probably not a bad time to update and reconcile the rest of my macros between my laptop and desktop.  I will try to get that posted this week so that I'm fully up to date.

I've now passed 50k tankpoints.  At this point the main things that need work are my shield, legs, boots, ranged, and ring slots.  Sounds like a lot but I'm close on each of those things.

Shield: Very close to Crest of the Sha'tar (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29176) which has nearly 600 more armor, more shield block value, and more stamina.  Slightly less defense rating but overall a great upgrade and I will still be above 490 def with it.  When I hit exalted with the SSO I can get the Dawnforged Defender, but that's still a few weeks away.  (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=34676)

Edit: Need ~4 more regular-mode Sha'tar instance runs to hit exalted and buy the shield assuming 1800 rep per run (possibly as few as 2 heroic-mode runs since they give more rep).

Legs: Close to Timewarden's Leggings (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29184) which is a nice upgrade from the Mag'hari Legs I have now.  I need just 2800 rep with the keepers of time which is around 3 Black Morass or Durnholde Keep runs.  When I hit revered I also get access to the tanking helm enchant from them.

Boots: I'm nearly to Ogri'la exalted (2 more days) and then I need to farm up around 8 apexis crystals to buy boots and the crossbow.  These are not really tanking boots, but will still be a decent sidegrade over the Obsidian Clodstompers which I have now.  Vortex Walking Boots: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32648  Sacrifices 2 stamina and a few points in strength for 19 crit rating and 114 armor.  Like I said, they're a sidegrade until I get some real tanking boots.  I will get boar's speed on them which makes most sense for the heroics I'm running.  I am also considering the S3 boots which I will get eventually anyway (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=33812) or the boots from heroic Blood Furnace: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29239.

Ranged: The Ogri'la crossbow will be my new trash ranged weapon (nice +hit bonus).  I also am nearly able to craft the Gyro-Balanced Khorium Destroyer (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32756)... just need to farm the primals now.  Not yet sure if I want to go with a solid star of elune in there or a Def/Stam gem.   Probably the Def/Stam because with the socket bonus it's only slightly different.

Rings: I was looking at the badge rings and I'm considering getting the Ring of Unyielding Force.  It's just 25 badges and I'm about 1/3 of the way there already.  This will be a nice low-hanging fruit type of thing to go for and I can replace my Wind Trader's Band.

Belt: I'm going to throw out there that I'm excited to fire up the Lion's Heart Girdle from heroic Ramps.  http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29238

I went into Magister's Terrace yesterday.  The difficulty of the dungeon on regular mode is on par with some of the heroics I've run with the exception that the trash doesn't hit as hard as heroic trash does.  Almost all the trash comes in 6-pulls with one non-elite imp, two healers, and various other magic users so LOS pulls are very important.

So my run was awful.  We wiped on the second boss like four times and it's a miracle we didn't die the fifth time (both hunters dropped of course and the pally had to bubble).  I'm sure we were doing something wrong but that's how it goes with new content.  You have to figure out what to do and how to do it.

I'm still amazed that a hunter can come to a 5-man with epic gear (not even welfare arena epics) and not know how to trap a caster or how to not autoshot your own trap.  The two hunters I came across yesterday were just like that.  To add insult to injury, one of the hunters (a blood elf of course) had a computer SO BAD that she claimed it would be faster to fly back to Silvermoon to repair than to hearth to Shatt and get resummoned.  Please don't complain about lag when what you mean is your computer is garbage.  1 GB RAM costs like $30 these days - that's 2 months of wow and your computer won't suck anymore.

Anyway, the rogue had enough when we wiped on the trash leading up to Kael.  I should have called it then too, but stuck around for a lock that was supposed to be ready to come.  Of course the lock didn't have any shards!!!

The lesson here could be "I should have gotten Selix" but in fact the real lesson is that I should not have pugged to begin with.  I pity the fool who PuGs MrT.

Hopefully Drunk on Sunday will do Magister's Terrace at some point this weekend and we will get in there and rock it.  I haven't seen Kael'thas yet.  This is our chance to experience new content together.  I should have known better but it's better late then never.

Well I've respecced Wyanna back to arms for a bit of the old ultraviolence (PVP).  Of course I used the old arms spec that I had in here which was used by a 5v5 warrior in the 2100+ bracket which has absolutely nothing to do with what Wyanna is capable of sustaining.  That's the same mistake I made on Saturnus back when I looked at it the first time too.  This is a more reasonable build for Wyanna that includes tactical mastery which is what I will probably spec her back to after our instance run(s) tonight.

(Had to use the crap calculator from Blizzard since wowhead is down for an update)

The new build includes tactical mastery and 3/3 imp hamstring.  I wish I could get bloodfrenzy in there too but going swords I figured the immobilization proc might help me more.  The goal is to be able to work effectively toward the S1 2H sword mostly for having a toy to play with and for something to get me started leveling in the X pack.  (though I'd be shocked if a green version of the s1 weapons isn't available in the starting Northrend zones...)

So Wyanna got some nice stuff in the past week or so for tanking (including the Bold shoulders and Burnoose of the Shifting Ages) and she's all gemmed out in solid stars of elune, etc.  I'm going to give fury a whirl on the PTR with this build later today during lunch maybe.
